Rhubarb bubbles up

You can't mistake rhubarb's fat red stalk and wavy brain like leaves that emerge in early spring. Ours is in the middle of the strawberry patch to inspire my favorite strawberry-rhubarb pie come June. The sour oxalic acid builds up over the season, so pick on the early side and don't eat the poisonous leaves.
