Carrot mutants

I had heard that carrots won't grow straight unless you have porous sandy soil. Our soil has a high composition of clay and probably small rocks, as the carrots grew in many shapes.

Move over, plants coming through!

We picked up our starts a couple weeks ago from my friend Angie's greenhouse. The plants filled the trunk... Any more and someone would be walking home! I am fortunate that the baby puts up with my plant addiction.
